Ok all installed and good- except the game won’t start unless I select, from the launcher, the “No video” or something option.
Is this a known bug?
Probably some video codec missing. I don’t remember which one was it, I installed it years ago.

The video didn’t cause a problem for me. But I hate videos so I clicked the “no video” box in the launcher.

4.37 update 5 is out which is a minor update.

The start up video is not a thing for me…I think I have the codec installed in my Apps list but really check to see if the in game videos for campaigns play, and if so wont be needed. (not that they matter anyway really)
The cut-scenes, of which there are many in the Korean campaigns, do all work for me. So if it’s a codec thing, I have the codec. Those videos are from 1999 so I’d be surprised if we need anything unique to play them.
You did need a specific codec on your system to get it to work going back 2 years maybe. It was a common thing people having to install the 3rd party one. I was thinking that may now be included with the default install but not sure.

Yeah, Balkans and Israel have the best content. Israel because you get Sufas and Balkans because that’s just Allied Force in BMS.

Balkans has longer flights and (I feel) a more enjoyable naval presence. If I want to fly F-18s, I usually do so in a Balkan campaign.

I might have missed it, but I really wish MidEast got a bit of an update. We’ve got a CG and LANTIRN, and I want to fly those Desert Storm missions again…
