I just did a test flight in a F/A-18C with Tald and ARM. I set the ARM to SPP, but they would not fire. The Tald did launch fine. Before I could debug the situation further, I was picked out of the sky by some MiG, ouch.
Followed then by a SAR op in the Huey. Much more of a success

I have another idea to help coordinating strikes:
If someone with admin privileges in Discord could create a new role (e.g. Strike Lead) which allows the creation of events, this could work as some sort of ATO.
Give this role to some of us here in this thread and we shoudn’t have to worry about abuse of this feature.
All users should already be able to subscribe to those events and get notifications before the start.

Ok, if I’m reading this right - we have 5 people for 12pm (my pacific time), so about 2.5 hours away today?
My suggestion of the simplest thing that could possibly work would be something like:
Discord for voice, internal typing in DCS chat if people can’t do voice.
Waypoints and stuff, not sure, especially as it’s the Viggen and data cartridges, REF/LOLA etc. We could do this as a hobbo ATO:
The range of the RB-04E is about 30km. If you use the radar and 60km range then about half way (or use F10 if radar is weird). Put at least 10 seconds between your pair of launches. When we fire we all roughly fire together to maximum aspect.
If anyone does TALD/88 then they go first, get up high and the #1 viggen flight will turn left once the bad guy fleet notices that.
If we have CAP that’s fine, if not then we’re zoomy and the distances on all this are super small. We can probably fly to the area in less than 5 mins, so we do a Brave Sir Robin and run away south or to cover over Khasab.
If anyone is streaming or just watching and on Discord voice then act as a controller and let us know what’s happening ideally.
@miRage - I think @BeachAV8R has permissions for that so not sure if for today.

Be aware..that if you kill all the ships in the Carrier Zone…it may not go neutral unless you kill all ships in the box. Also.. I’ve seen various descriptions of how the zone goes from neutral to blue. I have seen descriptions of blue ships moving into capture it… but it also may be possible to take a helicopter and land on that oil rig on the southwest corner of the zone (with zone supplies)…
Taking bets on if we manage to send 10 RB-4’s into that oil rig instead..
