That sounds like last Tuesday … ![]()
Holy Bloom and Lens Flares Batman.
I went to buy some stationery and spotted this puppy:
I figured I should support the downtown bookshop for stocking such a book so picked it up immediately ![]()
That book will be a self torture to you not understand why the hell we not yet have a Tornado on DCS and the last decent Tornado simulator (with weapons and campaign) was the DI Tornado…
I really hope to see any Tornado in DCS…
IDS!!! OR GR4!!!

Question: are there good books about the Air Forces of the split Germany?
Or maybe easier to find good books of each side?
Battlefield V for free on Prime Gaming (to keep) until September 1. If you have Prime, go get it!
I have mixed opinions about BFV, but you should get it to just check out the Pacific theater content, which is epic.
Paging Mr @MBot
I have the following about the MiG-21 in German language.
Holger Müller **MiG-21** Motorbuch-Verlag Stuttgart 2012
Quite detailed technical history of the fighter including some quite heavy emphasis on NVA / LSSK
Lots of great pictures
It’s author is also the owner of http://www.mig-21.de/
I have a book called “MiGs über Peenemünde” which talks a bit about some of the GDR air force activities back then.
That’s good - although I’m trying to find books with more of an holistic approach.
For the GDR side this book is pretty good (I heard. Haven’t read it)
https://www.amazon.de/Die-Luftstreitkräfte-NVA-Wilfried-Kopenhagen/dp/3613022354
Side note: funny how the German abbreviation NVA means Nationale Volksarmee (national people’s army, the army of the GDR which is DDR in German) while the English abbreviation NVA means the North Vietnamese Army.
Both communist forces during the 20th century.
I give up
It should make us appreciate Farm Simulator even more. You can power wash things and cut the grass and actual farming as a bonus.
What’s next? Taking-out-the-trash simulator? Toe-nail-clipping simulator?
