One of the most perplexing, bizarre and thoroughly enjoyable games I have played - pure Kojima.
That mission where you carry mama halfway across the map and then she dies that was a punch to the gut.
I think the man is a visionary in the gaming genre.
Metal gear solid is my all time favourite series. Even the last one (which was a sublime game, with an absolutely crap story)
But this one, was a real headscratcher. I genuinely believe the experience he intended wasnt meant to be fun, or even entertaining. It was meant to be a living piece of art.
I don’t understand art (eh @schurem) but this spoke to me in a way that i can’t explain. I both loved it and absolutely bloody hated it. Like totally detested it but i loved it.
Grrr such an annoying game. I’m clearly going to have to do this again now I’ve thought about it again

Nice graphics. Reputation for being grindy and a bit pay-to-win. If you’ve ever played a Korean MMO, you should kind of know whut’ to expect…
An older title, but still a classic and successful attempt to actually do and try something new. The dark and creepy vibe, the play mechanics and the art style combined into something I had never seen before at the time, and remains in my memory to this day.
