Yeah…I was actually quite positive on Take on Helicopters and enjoyed the campaign/story alot.
Some great deals on the wonderful Witcher series here:
Witcher 2 for a couple of dollars is great value, although 3 is the real masterpiece.
Wargame franchise sale on…would like to pick up Red Dragon…but I might wait for it to hit the severe bargain bin in another year or so…
[url]Welcome to Steam
Bought all three for $15 because, why the heck not?
Man it’s brutal. I love it!

one of the best strategy games out there in my opinion. beats all those “clicks per minute” strategy games out there. Did you start with EE?
Nope, dove right into Red Dragon, did a few skirmishes against AI.
I think what I liked the most about getting my butt kicked was realizing every time that I’d made a tactical/strategic/doctrinal error that I’d read about tens of times, but never had to implement myself, and certainly not under time constraints.
Stop around TS sometime, I’m always down for a good compstomp or two.
Fun survival game.
Not on a GTX 760!![]()
Seems to be Ace Combat-esque game. Arcade instead of simulator. Just picked it up
@PaulRix - Do you have the JRollon CRJ-200? I wonder if it has much commonality with the Challenger?
It’s on sale for $30…not sure if that is my pull the trigger point or not though…
Indeed I do Chris, although I haven’t spent time with the CRJ200 in a long while. It is very similar to the Challenger 604. Some of the panels are in different places, but they are essentially the same airplane. The CRJ200 is the same aircraft as the Challenger 850.
If I remember correctly, the systems are nicely modeled. The FMS, while not being 100% accurate, is close enough that I could find my way around.
I bought the CRJ to practice start procedures before I went to Challenger initial and it helped.
Here is a link to a report I made with this aircraft back in 2011 (link to SimHQ)…
CRJ200 Flight
Hmm…tempting…at $15.00…but really…won’t it just be another game in my library I don’t play? Sigh…
FWIW I enjoyed Just Cause 3 far more than I did 2. It was a blast.
Amazon is now saying the digital code is unavailable, Just FYI. Will buy when I goes on sale for Xbox one.
The old Westwood Studios classic Nox is available for free from Origin today:
American truck sim is 20% off at the moment on steam.
27% off deal for civ VI and hearts of iron IV at greenmangaming. Might need to be registered.
Looks like it might be unique codes for registered users.
Also on Nuveem you can buy games to activate on Steam at basically a fourth of the price*.
Ideally it’s legal- didn’t find anything wrong about it…
And it works- i tried it! ![]()
*Hearts of Iron 4 at less than € 19
Just don’t come crying if those codes gets banned by steam/devs though. Some of those codes where bought with stolen ‘credit cards’
