A bit of a different “book deal” and this might not be the right forum, as such - but the author is a friend of mine and probably has the sharpest brain of anyone I’ve ever met, so here goes.
Paul Behrens’ popular science book “The best of times, the worst of times - futures from the frontier of climate science” has just been released for preorder (Release in July):
I understand the code “DICKENS” gives a preorder discount (being a friend I didn’t think it was appropriate for me to use so can’t confirm).
I obviously haven’t read it yet so my recommendation is of his character and knowledge rather than the book itself, but he has got some good endorsements:
