Yeah, still need to use a laser sight for that.
Wait, you mean humans can still physically align their arm with their eyeball in order to use iron sights while holding a shield?
There has been a bit of a ‘rally renaissance’ on Mudspike lately.
I don’t know who else might have a game on their drive, and could possibly use the space, but keep one for one reason and one reason only?
I have a couple, but one of them is…
Nice to get a car to the end in one piece after all this time and definite room for improvement there, but I have forgotten how much fun Pikes Peak is. Especially in the wet.
It has been a while but this and the Nordschleife ‘Bridge to Gantry’ in Assetto Corsa are the two ‘tracks’ I will never give up.
Laguna seca, the full ring and trial mountain on Gran turismo 4 on my ps4 are mine
I feel like this is one of the most overrated games I’ve seen in recent years as it’s lauded in review but no one ever seems to mention the same Rockstar control jank and lackluster mechanics, but it’s still pretty damn outstanding.
I hated it. Personal opinion. Probably wrong but it just sucked. Even my wife, who is eternally and irritatingly optimistic about everything always hated it.
It’s agonizingly slow to start, far too eager to be ‘cinematic’ by taking away your controls, and has some pretty bad mission designs, to be fair.
Its like grand theft auto on 1/10th speed
You philistines. RDR2 is by far the greatest game of recent times. From the pacing of the languid horse rides through the glorious landscapes to the artfully told character drama, the beautiful sound design and the amazing visuals. I bought an Xbox X and 65" OLED screen for this game. But I’m an old man who loves himself a pensive western.
I’m an impatient nightmare that needs instant gratification unfortunately. I wish i could slow that part of my brain down. Honestly.
I wanted to like it, I really did, but I gave up not long after arriving at the first town (not the one in the snow, the next one where you set up camp just outside).
Normally I like a good Western, but RDR2 I just could not get into or relate to any of the other characters.
And @schurem I’m an older man… but I just shout at clouds.
shoulda given it a little longer. Once you get to where there’s green on the branches, game soars like a bald eagle.
The reason I didn’t buy RDR2 is exactly what you explained here.
I’m just like you minus self control. If I bought it I would literally die of starvation while playing, oh but with such a smile on my face…
When RDR2 does that, it’s fantastic. But, when it feels the need to force you to play a certain way in an open world or takes away controls for the sake of cinematic flair, it outright annoys me.
Still pretty great.
I’ve recently started re-playing the IL2-FB with BAT. Its so nice just to jump in and get flying again without a kneeboard/spending hours pouring over a manual.
I’ve made it abundantly clear over the years how much of a metal gear solid fan i am. Over and over again probably.
Well I’ve never played metal gear rising:revengeance. Honestly, as a metal gear fan I just always thought it looked kinda awful. A hack and slash game in a stealth world.
Well. Its on offer. I bought it in all honesty just so the collection is complete. I own every mgs game and spin off (I’ve yet to buy the recently released remaster as it doesn’t look or sound any better than the ones on my ps2-3 but i will eventually id imagine)
Man…this game is everything i hate. Stupid hack and slash fighting with an awful camera, no lock on to enemies and the feeling like I’m button mashing my controller.
Grrrrrt its absolutely brilliant. The soundtrack is phenomenal PHEN OM E NAL. The story is absolutely metal gear. Loads of references, nods and cool stuff you’d recognise if you are a fan.
The action is totally and completely batshit. Even my wife looked up and said “did you just throw that 40ft tall robot over that building”
■■■■ yes i did. Only doom eternal has ever made me feel like such a complete force of nature and made me so tired i have to play in short bursts…
I’m annoyed that I’d left it so long but what a game. Absolutely bloody mental. Crazy Japanese. They really know how to write a power fantasy for a pudgy middle aged dad
Dude, yes, MGR was absolutely insane and I loved every minute of it.
Rise of the Triad: Ludicrous Edition preserves RoTT perfectly.
As in, it’s still absolutely bananas.
Man i lost hours of my life at lan games of rott
