Sweet screens right there, @EinsteinEP!

And no worries about the CCIP symbology, as matt himself was kind enough to show us all what I believe is a CCIP delivery.

Very nice! Now, I am still very curious to what the difference would be between DYK-NAV and DYK-ANF

Thanks for all the answers so far! I understand the comments about you flying a pre-pre-pre-prerelease version. I pre-ordered the viggen the moment it was available anyway. The perfomance so far seems to be what is expected of a 60’s design anyway. I’m very happy with the way the module is looking and all the info you and others online have been able to share

Concerning figuring out the correct QFE, it looks like if you properly set-up your attack in the mission editor, Sweden will send out the Särskilda Inhämtningsgruppen for you to gather the necessary intel, and write a nice kneeboard page for you with all the information you need.

Hej hopp i blåbärsskogen! I had seen that kneeboard page but didn’t notice the QFE field. Nice!

:laughing::wink:

Bringing down the hammer.

Before.

After.

ooooooooh

It looks like they’ve tried to properly model it as a gliding munitions dispenser instead of a Mk-20.

Not only does it glide, but it guides! The BK90 will correct course after launch and adjust its altitude in two different steps. There are also three release patterns for launching multiple (i.e., 2) weapons - long, wide, and compact.

I was curious because this is how the BLG-66 should work (minus the guiding and exaggerated gliding of course), and doesn’t.

Also. Do I hear AGM-154A’s for the F/A-18C? I hope so.

Was that MJ1 or MJ2 or a mix, also how many did you get with that ?

thx for the prerelease footage !

I’d say its a mix. In Bunyap’s third video he hovers his mouse over the MISSILE tab just long enough for us to see that the BK-90 will be able to take a mix of MJ1 and MJ2 submunitions. What supports this further is the two different kinds of explosions.

Yee, they said already that it will be either 50/50 or only mj1 or only mj2.

I am mainly interested how deadly mj2 only loadout is against lets say an SA6/SA3/SA11 etc. battery. :))

Acoording to my calculations it should pretty much damage heavily if not kill anything in the center region. Each of the 24 MJ2 is firing 110 EFPs with roughly the muzzle energy of a ka50 AP projectile cylindrical around it, parachute retarded and radar altimeter fuzed. So anything lightly or unarmoured should get toasted.

There are at least two BK90 variants, the MJ1 (for soft targets, which is what I show in my pics above) and the MJ2, which is for armored targets. Aspects of the BK90 are still WIP in the build I have, but it promises to be a fun little weapon.
