Heatblur F-14 and Forrestal Update

There’s an episode where they go to Russia because Harm is convinced the dang nabbed soviets stole his dad from the POW camp in Vietnam, and somehow they end up in a MiG-29, which gets shot down.

They really should’ve stopped letting Donald Bellisario produce TV shows after Quantum Leap. Kinda like they should’ve stopped letting Michael Bay produce movies after Bad Boys.

There’s a reason I’ve seen maybe three episodes of Jag, total.

Didn’t JAG have a mildly successful spinoff … NCIS or something like that  .

Don’t think it had F-14s though

It barely had the Navy in it.

Needs more buff dudes to get the Navy interested in it.

Ha! Well, it’s a fun show, despite the lack of theTomcats, Hornets, Intruders and the Navy in general…

Wait- I can’t read your subtext… that’s a bad thing or a good thing? :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I mean, it’s entertaining TV, just completely unrealistic. Here’s an excerpt from a conversation some friends and I had with suggestions that would be grounded in reality:

NCIS Charleston: when a power school class has an average that’s above a 2.8 for three tests in a row, the agents of NCIS spring into action to break up what had to be a cheating scandal, hounding and threatening the students in the class until one of then admits to giving his classmates perfectly legal drugs that aid in concentration and memory performance, and leading them in Tai Chi and Qi Gong three times a week. Fifty students are booted, thirty instructors are denuked, and one Lieutenant is forced to stand in the corner for an hour.

NCIS San Diego: While making the weekly Monday run to all the Tijuana jails to bail out sailors and marines, the agents, uncover a heroin trafficking ring, but are forced to sweep the entire thing under the rug when is discovered that one of the principles is the daughter of a 4- star admiral.

NCIS Pax River: In which agents repeatedly investigate cases of thumb drives used on NMCI computers. The office affected is an F-14 program office. (brought it back full circle)

But that’s just my two cents.

So, back on topic. What special or unusual squadron skins are y’all looking forward to seeing / making?

I was just wondering about how long it would take for those to start popping out once the beta drops…

I mean is there any other one than this?
Honestly?

Back when Torchwood first aired, I remember there was a scene with cops talking about how unrealistic CSI was and how they wished there was a CSI: Cardiff. I LOL’d at just how genuine that conversation was.

All I need is a VF-84 early 80s skin and I’ll be sorted for life.

In addition to the classic VF-84, I am also a big fan of:

VF-142 Ghostriders

VF-32 Swordsmen

Those black anti-glare outlines around the canopy are super cool

And that 70s yellow…

All of them. The answer is all of them.

Correct.

The Swordsmen in their AB days. (Was with them when they were with CVW-3; AC)
