Kicking it old school, nice! @wheelsup_cavu flies il2-1946 a lot as well I think. Me, I’m almost exclusively about DCS. I just can’t get enough of blowing things up (or getting shot down) in VR.

I frequently can’t see the forest for the trees, so didn’t question it at the time. Ask my wife. But after further thought, still can’t understand the motive. This place only exists for our benefit, does it not? No adverts, no fees, no indoctrination. Just great low key conversation about the things we love. Flying, photos, music, bikes, cars, trucks, our kids, staying in shape, etc. So the fact that our founder needs to take a sabbatical does not anger me. It’s obvious that most of us miss him and wish for his wellbeing. His privacy is not a reason to be offended, IMO.
Probably said to much. Back to our regularly scheduled program.

I’m just looking at that Lightning photo and thinking that would make an awesome pattern for a tie. Hmmm, going to have to see if I can find somewhere in Oz that will print custom fabrics and/or make custom ties.
