Both IL2. The fire effects give it away, plus the BoX Spitfire IX is a IXe with the pointy rudder and .50s instead of .303s.
philstyle did a good series of vids comparing the two
So those who have tank crew for IL-2; I have a question. Are the control settings for the tanks still enmeshed with the control settings for the aircraft?
The reason I ask is when I initially tried this out I wanted certain buttons on my joystick to be for certain tank controls and that would screw up/change my current controls settings for my HOTAS that I have for the aircraft.
You can add “conflicting” controls, having it do something for aircraft and something for the tank, and it’s not an issue since you’ll never be flying a plane and in a tank at the same exact time.
It shouldn’t change as long as you you let the same key be allowed for multiple actions
Wait until Dr.Zebra shows up…
I can’t wait, haven’t seen anything from Dr. Zebra in quite some time
Good to know. Thanks.
from the new patch today, the SU-122
!
driver position
with hatch open gunner position
view to the left of the gunner, not really sure that i would like to sit next to live 122mm HE shells. commander view commander scope, not really sure what it does, possibly some type of ranging couldn’t get it to move. may be tied to the movement of the main gun.
So far after a quick go with it main cannon seems very powerful, but the reload is terrible (expected when trying to manhandle a 122mm shell). The main problem I see (or don’t see) is visibility out from the vehicle.
also the turret system on other tanks is definitely improved, the turret will no longer keep moving if you move the mouse the opposite way.
Cadillac of the sky!
Not sure how my T-34 ended up on the Western Front and at an airfield outside of Bonn, but I wrecked the place singlehandedly.
I think I’m better at BoX when I’m not actually in the air.
The T-34 is a pretty beastly machine.
Okay, guys, this is a good spot for a picnic.
(Too much sightseeing and not enough looking where the ground is)
Been there, done that. . .
This is what happens when the PTO gets pushed off again! Back to the Russian scrap yard with you all.
I’m glad to see I’m not the only one who rides around sticking out the top of my tank at all times
