At this time the older tracks I have still work. I know that there are several from earlier update versions that will not work though.
Whomever made this a requirement to even play Offline should be flogged* though.

Yeah I agree, but it seems to be the norm with many games these days - MSFS, Elite Dangerous to name but two others, and there are many more. Just one of those things that changes and we have to live with it.

Yes - just tried it and that works. Should have thought of that - it’s my age!

That’s strange worked for me, as I posted 
Offline mode worked again after I updated but until I did I kept getting the message to update and I could not move forward into the game. All it would allow me to do was cancel my attempt to play Offline which would then kick me back to the desktop.
Even disconnecting my computer from the internet would not allow me to bypass the update message.

Just bought me the Spitfire XIV with bubble canopy - gonna have to get some stick time in. I really enjoy the other Spits, well I enjoy all of the allied aircraft in this sim.
I’m especially fond of the little U-2VS, mind. Great fun to fly and fight with.
I fully agree.
It is also fun to hunt the WWI era opponents in the U-2VS
