Anyone done a 1:1 Panzer simpit yet?
Imagine multi-crew in a shared cockpit!

multi-crew is brillant a while ago myself, @Mace @saghen gave the tanks a throw … Saghen was my gunner in a tiger and at one point we got attacked by a russian spitfire, and saghen managed to put an 8.8 round straight into the front of the plane… epic
I’d forgotten about that! Definitely fun multi-crewing the tanks, dying with someone else is far better lol
I still remember our playtime in tanks. It was epic.
Just like marriage!
Wow this got dark fast
I played the instant action Tiger mission
… looking confidant in my tiger after taking a hit to the front
I love these machines. I don’t know how many times I’ve watched Netflix’s Greatest Events in WW2 as well as Road to Victory which has heightened my interest in tanks and such
That looks like a hectic battlefield tempusmurphy
Lol, opening your hatch to repair might be a tad suicidal with that many enemy tanks near you.
Wheels.
Just took the HP 400 for a very quick flight. Barely enough to check out the handling (very docile) and the gunners positions with twin Vickers
We have an off grid solar power system and the past few days have been rain and/or overcast. I will be firing it up in VR for a decent ‘play’ just as soon as I can get some sunshine into the batteries.
Flying Circus III has been announced with the release of FC II.
Nice. I have missed the Vol. III announcement.
Also, 1C Games Studios and Ugra Media have entered into an agreement to develop the third part of the project - Flying Circus Vol. III.
It will include 8 aircraft:
- German Albatros D.II fighter
- German fighter Halberstadt D.II
- French Nieuport 17.C1 fighter
- French Nieuport 11.C1 fighter
- French fighter Nieuport 17.C1 GBR adapted for British service
- French Hanriot HD.1 fighter.
- British two-seat reconnaissance aircraft R.E.8.
- British two-seat medium bomber F.E.2b.
In the 3rd part of the project, it is planned to make the Western Front map and the Pilot Career mode final. Map objects and Career mode will cover the entire length of the front lines on the map, complementing and improving the content of Rise of Flight. There will be new industrial plants, farms, front line objects and other details. The map will have five seasons: Summer, early Autumn, late Autumn / early Spring, Winter and Spring. Release of the Flying Circus Vol. III is scheduled for the end of 2023. The first airplanes of the set will be available this summer via the early access program our players are familiar with.
FUTURE PLANS
After the completion of FC-III, there are plans for 2024 to develop an additional set together with Yugra Media that will reproduce the remaining land-based aircraft in Rise of Flight.
It is currently planned to include:
- British Sopwith Pup fighter.
- British rear-engine fighter Airco DH.2.
- British two-seat reconnaissance Sopwith 1 1/2 Strutter.
- German fighter Albatros D.III.
- German Fokker E.III monoplane fighter.
- German two-seat reconnaissance Roland C.IIa.
We plan to further improve the maps of Flying Circus projects, supplement their development and add the airfields that are located further from the front line. Please note that the Western Front map is available to all players who have purchased at least one of the Flying Circus projects. This map will be further improved and supplemented.
Does anyone know if this update broke the tracks?
Wheels
The difference in the release with Battle of Normandy is conspicuous.
“Hey, FC v2 is done, v3 is coming, we’re doing all these WWI planes and expansions to the map too!”
“Hey, BoN is done and we have 2 planes coming out after that. TTYL”
What’s the deal with the delay in announcing the next release?
I would love to see some of the sea planes from the old rise of flight
I really liked the 0/400 in RoF - in fact it’s been a favourite aircraft since I was a wee bairn (well not that wee - old enough to appreciate outstanding British engineering!) and I like IL-2 GB heaps, but I have so much stuff I do and want to do these days, I haven’t flown it since I had a very quick flight in the Mossie after its release. Have only had a tiny dabble in a biplane and not touched FC2 - even though I’ve bought everything as soon as it’s been available to buy.
It really sucks, cos I want to fly all my sims, all day, every day. At the same time.
Not fair.
I know the feeling!
This is great - love the RE8
