Lego!

We are having a blast with it, I unexpectedly got sent home early yesterday and didn’t have to stay away so we built a tractor together and a barn with a working door and a terrace on top with a tank bunker and an airstrip (obviously)
I’m so impressed with his ability to name an object and make me build it. He’s learning so much about me constructing things for him and him smashing them.

So many hours of great playtime with Lego as a boy. I’m quite of enjoying a resurgence of Lego time on a Saturday morning, with the Technic set I’ve got… to the point I’m considering buying another set!

Here is an easy fun build - make a simple catapult!
Basically a seesaw, build a “cup” on one end and put a couple posts halfway down that end of the “arm” on either side and stretch an elastic band between them. I used to do that and launch stuff across the basement.

Excellent! I’ll post the results. I’ve been on YT looking for stuff that would entertain a 3 Yr old and his dad as well. He is currently neck deep in making a fortress for his tanks and tractors. Im not thinking about the “why tanks AND tractors” and focusing on the “get to the bottom of the box and find more wheels” side of things

I heartedly agree with you.

I went to Legoland Billund Saturday in the same weekend that you went.

The Space Shuttle has a history and launch sequence every 3 minuttes.

I just love the little details to find like:

I got myself this one in the shop

An hour after I got home I started building It. It took me 3 enjoyable hours to finish. Now I just have to figure out where to put it.I am still jugling with that, as I don’t really have any spare horizontal space left.

18 or over??

Why? Is the Sith Lord anatomically correct or something?

Does he… Isn‘t he… Never mind.

Lord Vader finds your lack of sensitivity concerning his anatomy…disturbing…

LEGO Art, for big babies.

Pretty cool stuff, if you ask me. Warhols Monroe, The Beatles, Iron Man and Sith Lords.

I remember seeing this movie in theaters, and I thought that the Batwing was one of the coolest things I’d ever seen. Add this to the wish list:

Well it is 10:05AM local time, basically time to start feeling hungry for lunch even though it’s too early to eat. So combining Lego with hunger we have this:

Lego 2020 Holiday season ad.

Just watched it 4 times and will probably watch it a couple of times after posting this. It puts a gofy happy smile on my face.

I just love the Dragon and T-rex reactions.
