MAD AH2 - Company aircraft purchase!

I forgot to insure the aircraft before I left KEAT. :see_no_evil:

I’m on a break - boss [wife] sent to get the correct nails for the air-nailer

FWIW, I kinda look forward to learning it “Old School” - pre-GPS/RNAV. Auto-pilot’s nice though. I’m not that masochistic.

I still occasionally forget to hit the “OK” to start AH’s monitoring. Need a better pre-checklist, checklist. The most annoying issue using Network Mode.

I agree. The autopilot is pretty essential…

Oooph…at MTOW the 172 Bush is definitely not a performer… We will have to be careful getting her up to the MEAs around Pangborn. Wow…

I assume this is Mt. Stuart - 9,415’ out west of Pangborn…

Was in that exact same spot Sunday evening.

Sidebar | So, I need to start XOrtho’g Idaho and Montana? I’ll look see if Orbx has this covered.

So it took me 38 DME out of Pangborn to get to 10,000’ at MTOW. Fortunately I could VFR my way up through the mountains, otherwise you might have to take a bit of an off vector to get established safely for flights over to western WA…

Looking kind murky down there in the valleys near Snoqualmie Pass…

Hey Bossman, inquiring minds want to know how/where did you get the cargo pod?

The cargo pod automatically shows up once you load a certain amount of cargo…! Cool feature!

3,600’ overcast in Renton (no weather reporting at S36)…so should be able to duck under and get in…

Worst case - S50 (Auburn) has an instrument approach and I can fly it to get under and proceed VFR…

Sucker hole…

Love the screenshots!!! I have moved my comanche from 1OR5 up to KEAT today in preparation for my cargo job which I will do this evening. Will post some screenshots when all done!

That’s odd! So how do we get cargo jobs showing in the VA like in the personal companies tab?

Select a Job on your side, then there’s a button [Transfer to VA]. There was a bug that would only let you do this once, then CTD. A patch released recently claims to have fixed that. I haven’t test yet.

Wow…that was pretty sketchy…LOL. So the weather was not as good as it was reporting in Renton. Probably 1000 overcast. As I approached the Seattle VOR, I set up a slight 30 degree left offset in order to intercept the outbound 106 radial to find S36 while sort of descending in the blind hoping to get under that 3,600’ advertised at Renton (NOPE!). My offset just happened to hit about 9 DME…so I looked left and there was AN AIRPORT! The Airport? I don’t know…(haha…) but the DME and radial matched up pretty good. A descending 270 degree to the right lined me up with 15…in and out of IFR on the descent. Really not a good feeling in our uninsured plane.

Landed, taxied in…still not positive I was at the correct airport. Went to the Air Hauler menu and thankfully the agent took delivery…

Man, I sure miss that Garmin 750!

Hee, hee. Yeah I love it. Almost creepy under those conditions in VR.
