By now I wish I had applied as well, just to see how it works on my machine.

Dammit, I need MOAR NIEUWS!!!

Je kan alsnog aanmelden. Volgens mij gaan ze richting massatest en lichtere machines…

Is VR a possibility on initial release? I can’t do anymore flying in 2D.

As far as we know right now there is no VR support yet.

OK,Thanks

Since I am not in the alpha I can talk about it. Nice.
Some rumors:

According to some place on the net it seems they let some people in with graphics cards like the GTX980Ti , GTX1070 and the RTX2060, which gives me some hope that the sim will actually run halfway decently on my PC.
I have heard of a few with “only” 16GB of RAM and/or “old” CPUs like 4th generation i7 , but they all have RTX2080 graphics cards and the like.
Disk space requirement is reported at 83GB.

I rock a i7 4970k, 32gb, 1070, cv1

So yeah, I am not allowed to confirm these rumours, nor can I in any good faith deny them.

One thing that is not under the NDA is the rumour (fact!) that M$ liked mudspike so much they had our frog do their forum. :medal_military: :metal:

Apart from the graphics card and the ram. We are rocking basically the same setup. I have an r295x2 and 16gb (until i can afford 2x 16gb sticks)

Probably one of the most impressive videos so far - Airports.

That sound you hear is the squeaky bum of every commercial plug-in author seeing their future (not really, but it certainly resets what’s expected out of the box in a sim)…

That video is incredible. I’m interested to see their pricing model. So many features added to this sim.

Man, I remember back in the early 80s, playing sublogic’s flight simulator, with wire frame buildings in Chicago and literally just the color green for ground. It brings tears to my eyes thinking things have come so far.

Well, they have my attention now…

I’m really curious what 80 locations they pick as the ‘Iconic’ airports. Hand editing the 37,000 is going to be zero fun, so it will be interesting to see how that works out. They made no mention of an X-Plane like airport gateway as yet, with community involvment. I wouldn’t be shocked to see lots of scenery companies filling in that 37,000 to 80 airports ‘gap’ with products.

I’m excited about the possibility of 3rd party developers just focusing on airports and not having to futz with wider scenery areas bordering the airports. Sure, some custom buildings and stuff…but the possibilities here are great for us.

I think this is the first Military aircraft ‘confirmed’ for MSFS2020.

That doesn’t look impressive at all … said no one ever. :astonished:

Wasnt there talk of a Ms fs dev doing DCS stuff as well… perhaps… a rhinoceros might enter two sims… (all the dots indicate dreamy musings)
