That’s the word I was looking for!
It’s starting to get real…. Just a week to go. They also hit my credit card a couple of days ago.
Be sure to get rid of the awful Nvidia Experience pos and install the new Nvidia App instead!
It’s one of the reasons I went for an AMD GPU and Nvidia finally solved it by actually investing into usability. Wow it really seems they made a buck or two. (Sarcasm)
I’ve never used Geforce Experience, and I’ll probably never use the nvidia app either.
If I have a problem, I’ll download a new driver.
Yo, you’ll solve it?

NEW UPDATES, NEW WEBSITE, NEW SIMULATOR!
In preparation for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, our team has updated 18 Aircraft for initial Forwards Compatibility as well as Stability Updates! The changelogs are too long to post below, so please read them on our website before download. With the new simulator releasing this week, we highly recommend that you download all your favorite Got Friends aircraft again. Even if you don’t plan on playing Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 on Day #1, these updates are ALSO for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. In addition to the updates, we have completely overhauled our Official Website to support both MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 Add-ons in the future. To simplify the transition, we would like to label each add-on and their latest versions. If the aircraft doesn’t have a new version, it is already Forward Compatible for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
You can now visit the new website and start downloading the new versions. As for Marketplace owners, I will be submitting all versions to Microsoft this week. Due to the insane week ahead of us, I suspect you won’t be seeing these updates for quite some time. I apologize in advance for any delays.

@everyone
Does anybody know what the best update procedure will be?
2020 is bigger than 2024 and they might not both fit on my SSD at the same time.
Can I just uninstall 2020 and buy&install 2024? Will my (marketplace) stuff be all there?
As far as I understand it: Yes, that should work.
The information which planes you own etc. is saved in your MS account.
You just have to manually add non-marketplace stuff.
You could minimize the 2020 footprint by offloading the community folder to an external HDD if you have one. That way, if 2024 has issues you can easily revert back to 2020 if necessary. I’m definitely going to keep my 2020 install for a little while.
Do you guys have a preference where you purchase from? ie xbox, steam
I bought it on Steam because the Microsoft Store has given me nothing but problems. I lost access to my games for a year because of their weird file system.
I also use Steam. Worked great for me so far.
Okay thanks guys. I’m thinking Steam as well. But it’s odd, xbox has it listed for $20 cheaper than steam. Might be american monies.
I got pre-ordered on Steam, but I’m having some hesitations. I heard that content creators/reviewers did not get advanced copies (could be wrong). In other games, it kind of was a signal on issues with the game. Then the technical alpha was kind of rough (I know it was an old build). A lot of new stuff was added, hopefully most of it is in functional order.
I do have gamepass, so I will look at reviews and maybe try it on gamepass before I burn my 2 hrs in Steam.
Microsoft Store is bad, so I refuse to actually buy anything there.
I did the technical weekend back in October and lost an entire weekend to it. It was great.
No disrespect SpaceGameJunkie, but sometimes I find myself chuckling or giggling when I read your posts given your profile picture.
