I’m so jealous of that list. I would love to learn to fly a SC7

When dad passed on in 2009, I inherited most of his art and photo collection. He picked this up when we were stationed at RAF Woodbridge in the early to mid 60s. It’s definitely one of my favorites.

He would describe how often, his Voodoo squadron would play the part of the aggressors, attacking England. He further commented that when the Lightning was new, it was so fast and the RAF so determined to thwart the attack, that they would frequently blow through the merge. What fun that must have been for those boys.

Westland Wyvern, what a pretty ugly plane :yum:

what a missed opportunity to model those weird looking planes in X-Plane, it would be definitely fun to try their flight characteristics at least in a sim

The mechanic part of my just cringes contemplating having to keep to contra rotating gear boxes that close to each other working.

I was gonna roll in here with the casual statement that I thought the SEPECAT Jaguar is a sexy plane…but I think the British only get half credit for that?

The British brought the functionality and the French brought the looks

Just kidding, but the French have made some great looking aircraft over years.

Since I know we have some fans of the area around here…unfortunately @klarsnow doesn’t have an F-15E to fly yet in MSFS that I know of though… :upside_down_face:

Woah… I almost fainted.

For every tiny addon free/payware that released nowaday for msfs (and its like dozens new ones daily) i only remember the naif people that on msfs alpha/beta trying to evangelize on the internet saying that with new msfs they no more need any addon’s, will be all included! LOLOLOL
I never believe on that (that msfs never need addons, like some trying to believe) because knows much the civil flight sims market, but these flood of msfs addons goes higher than my thoughts
Now, almost, even a small dogs house on the garden goes to a payware addon for msfs….
Its start to get sick and everyone want a slice of the cake, i understand, but its ironic
