The last beautiful and good only british military aircraft was the Vulcan and Harrier
Tornado and Eurofighter are pretty good aircraft but was a joint development with other european countries!
All other cold war RAF aircraft or are ugly and bad or simple ugly
To keep the ugly philosophy now they will start to have the USA F35.

Talking about lumpy, yeah, good catch, usually UK aircraft designs of coldwar are too much lumpy, even the cool Vulcan have a bit too much on the tail. About other V-Bombers is a master challenge who is the ugliest one.

… slowly backs away, making eyes for the exits.

With them adding VR support, I’m now thinking its time to dive in.
Whats the footprint of a standard install? Is it better on a SSD or will a standard drive work? I’ve got the room, just need figure out where.

Thanks!

My current install with some addons and freeware is 200Gb

I have it on an ssd

ok, lets create another RAF category, the looks good but bad airplanes to fit that cancelled project.

By the way, PZL M-15 is a polish aircraft…

Da comrade, in glorious union of Soviets, no planes are ugly.

Some soviet prototypes and some not much known ones are even more ugly than that one

Only because exist other ugly aircraft, not make RAF cold war aircraft pretty!

I tell you what aircrafts that are good and i personally like them:
F-15, F-16, F-14, A-10, B-52, MiG-29/35, Su-27/35/37, Su-25, MiG-31

All of them looks more pretty and much operational better than any UK coldwar aircraft design.

The only good RAF aircraft are Harrier, EF and Tornado, but as mentioned not fully UK design… (except Harrier)

Being ex-RAF I beg to differ, but a wise man once said that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
You forgot the Hunter and personally I like the looks of the Victor and Buccaneer. Also the Lightning looked capable and aggressive (although short legged).

I must admit I’m with @stavka on the looks of certain British cold war machines. However, I love them no less for it, and think that they are interesting, glorious machines, just like their contemporaries from other manufacturers.

Guess you Brits just like 'em lumpy eh

About interesting i also agree, in fact after so many many years studying military aircraft, after awhile the beauty and common ones starts to get boring and the exotic and ugly ones are the ones you want to read about them!
Its like wildlife documentaries on tv, after a while, giraffes, lions and elephants start to get boring.
I really enjoy and like RAF story and some aircraft of them are in my pool of the most loved ones, like for example the Lancaster, i strongly like it!
