MSFS - Multiplayer Information

Had a great time with @fearlessfrog and @Fridge this afternoon on an impromptu little flight around Lethoso. We were using this map as a bit of a base reference…starting from FXME and wandering westward hitting strips of various topography.

It was…simply stunning and so much fun to fly in loose formation with some friends…

We were sharing the same weather conditions, time, winds, turbulence, etc…it was a very shared experience for sure!

The terrain…all default and generated by the sim…is simply stunning…

On the base leg to one of the plateau airports…

On the next leg…we had a hilarious mishap. Up at 9,000’ or so we were headed to our next stop and we hit a bit of cloud…well…temps were -4 or -5 and we all immediately started accumulating ice…!

Things were getting dire indeed. We turned south and headed down in altitude hoping to drop into a nearby strip…all of us wondering if the ice was going to melt off or not. We could all barely see…but also compared notes and felt like the icing was unique to each of us. @fearlessfrog had his ice disappear faster than us…so he must have gotten into warm air faster or not have hit the ice as bad as Fridge and I (though he suffered the same view as us…it just seemed to clear up faster…)

All three of us iced up and heading for our divert field…

Uh…I think I see you out there Fridge…Fridge?? Fridge???

I have enough visibility to see to land…!

After a landing and waiting a bit…we all noticed the ice was slowly melting off…

Stopped at a paved field to pick up some gas. The fuel dialog never came up, but you can still grab gas via the menu system…

Off we go again…

A fantastic group flight…with no connectivity problems that I could see (once we were established)…no warping…smooth…and just a fabulous experience. Very enjoyable and this sim is just gorgeous in so many ways. Hard to describe actually…
