Mudspike Farms

Well, we could pretend to got an inheritance from a rich uncle that only let us spend it on moving animal pens around and beautifying the farm. Alternatively, we can add money in the editor, make all the adjustments necessary, then remove a certain amount of money as a penalty, but not the full amount. Reminder, this farm wasn’t created with realistic money, you added a certain amount.

13% off at greenman! plus two vehicles!

actually, 15% if you log in.

Did an early session today.

Got 11/13 sowed with soy, 20 got slurry and soy. Harvested 19, stored the soy (about 20k liters) in the silo (along with the oats saghen stored there last night).

Made about 48k literes of TMR (and laid a small gravel approach for the TMR prep area), sold 20 sheep, and stacked some wool.

Had one issue, which saghen discovered last night. Neither of us were able to fill the seeder’s fertilizer bin from the new auger wagon. I tried again today, and had to dump a bit on the ground and front load the seeder manually.

Weird, am I doing it wrong? I was sure we filled the Kuhn fertilizer spreader from the new wagon.

Anyway, two fields of tall corn just about ready for harvest next session!

I’ll see if I can get some time to check the auger wagon today. I won’t be on this evening.

Ok well that’s frustrating. I tried setting the tip door to grain as it’s supposed to be but that didn’t do anything.

We’ll need to get another one, dump it all in somehow (ugh, that could suck) and then sell this one or convert it to a regular tipper or something.

Sorry guys - the place it was posted showed it working, but to be fair it was with grain into a tipper. I just assumed it would work the same.

No problem, we’ll get it going.

EDIT: @Rhinosaurus weirdly, I did get it to work. I had to cycle the tipside through while the seeder was waiting in place, but it did fill once it “caught”.

Hmm. I cycled it too but it didn’t do anything. Hopefully it sticks.

There was an update for the Additional Field Info mod - it’s in the in-game mod hub, just go to updates tab. I’ve added it to the server.

Done. Good session!

The silage is done and stored. Made 5 bales, which is good for now. The rest is set for creating hay.

After an hours break, I returned to plant field 11/13 with soy. Used the Great Plains unit… wow…

FS19 Mods LWG Europe (Placeable) Bale Storages Pack Yesmods in case we don’t want to have bales of hay/straw strewn about the farm. :stuck_out_tongue:

That’s actually a better system than the bale sheds we’ve added to the server but not yet used. Be interesting to see how those fit where we currently store bales.

Does add an extra step but things won’t be as messy.

HEY MAN I"M FEELING A RAGE COME ON. I KEEP THAT AREA RELLY CLEAN YOU KNOW.

:innocent:

Hahaha!

Saghen’s bale storage solutions added.

edit: all of the global company mods have received an update as well, and had to be re-added to the server. They’re in the in-game modhub and can be updated using it. Just go to the updates tab.

Rain set in just before 19 was done with harvesting. Later today/tonight, I’ll pass the rains with some contract work, maybe.

Recommendation from the mod hub…

Elmer’s Cutter Trailer. Can be painted to suit, and hauls our 645FD like a dream. Costs $8k.

@Rhinosaurus be sure to make a save before restarting the server. I managed to harvest the last bit of that field before it withered, just as the rain was (still is) winding down. The rest is in the tipper (with field 18 ready to go).

Surem I’m finishing up some stuff but I’ll add that mod you posted before I start playing.
