While cool and nicely defined those pvc patches are… fake in my eyes. Patches should be embroidered.

Yeeeeeah… That’s my opinion as well and why I am a bit ambivalent about PVC.
But I think there’s no denying that PVC gives patchmakers posibilities that doesn’t exist with embroidered patches. I have designed a few patches, so I know something about the limitations. Still, there’s something about cloth and thread that plastic doesn’t have.
I guess PVC patches are somewhat of a cross between vinyl stickers and patches.
Cool and all, but not quite a patch I would wear, if you know what I mean…
Man, if I was awarded a FWS or Top Gun patch I would wear it even if it was made out of cat poo and bird sheeit! Wear it with pride!

Actually, both excerpts from your posts here closely resembles my feelings about PVC patches.
I am torn…
I only have a few patches that was issued to me. The rest are collected because of a fascination with patches. The ones I have worn myself will always be special to me.
But other patches in my collection are interesting because they have been worn by people I respect. Others are just cool to look at 
But PVC patches are making their way into service life, so I guess we’ll see more of them.

I’m currently mulling about stuff.
Would anyone like custom patches made by me?
I.e.: The Mudspike bomb (with 50% of the net earning donated to @BeachAV8R for running costs) or maybe some other designs…
Like- some of the drawings I already made turned into patches?
PS: According to the response I’ll check the prices with different websites across the world. I’d like to offer low prices to everyone.

I absolutely want a mudspike patch. 100% confirmed order.
Also wouldn’t mind my company logo as well. My flying suit looks bare with no patches on it and these 2 would set it off nicely. Happy to pay you upfront for both.

Feel free to keep 100% of the revenue. This is my hobby and it has some expenses..but we are all good on the financial front here. As a matter of fact, things are so good that I’ll be doubling @Fridge’s and @Troll’s salary each month..
