Well you know it’s like the Matrix - looks pretty on the outside, but only Neo gets to see the lines of code
Because, well, these lines of code, they’re here, but making screenshots of them is somewhat underwhelming. You can still see the result of the big machine working its magic - in this case, these planes ain’t placed on the flight deck by hand, they are an actual flight package getting readied for take off, while testing performance with a full task force around them. This means we had to plan the flight, select the right skin for the planes… This also means the tools for all this are already there.
It’s all part of the plan, but I’d rather leave some poetic dimension to it by not saying too much. We’ll have time to dwelve deeper into the mechanics in a future dev blog update, that I can assure you
Looking forward to it, this is among my most anticipated non-flightsim titles.
You guys are really awesome.
thanks ^^
By the way, I just realized that by pure reflex, and in a fashion that Freud would certainly be able to explain, I actually mimicked the intro of the venerable 1942: The Pacific Air War
The brain works in strange yet charming ways sometimes…
This is getting more and more interesting, even for someone like me who has never played a game of that genre before. Definitely on my watchlist!
Holy cow… this makes me want to re-read my “Fire In The Sky: The Air War In The South Pacific” book.
Pacific Air War! What a game it was. I remember that the AI was slightly weird, though
It’s official!
Congratulations for getting this under the MicroProse brand. I am sure that this will help the game to get the attention it deserves.
Guess that wasn’t as coincidental as you made it out to be eh
Congratulations mate!
Thank you chaps!
If you have a few dollars to spare in a few months from now, don’t hesitate to pay our store page a visit and drop a wishlist, it will be much appreciated
Thank you for your kind and genuine support during all these months, but we’re just getting started
Cheers
I certainly will! You guys are already on my Wishlist.
Task Force Admiral’s slightly more modern oriented sister-game, Sea Power: Naval Combat in the Missile Age is now also ready to be wishlisted on steam
Also… Me in the very near future…
There is an easy solution…press both buttons!
Or just wear oven mitts and pretend you pressed both buttons by “mistake”.
both excellent ideas… but that is going to require a lot of alt-tabbing
Added to the wishlist, I know that kind of stuff helps.
Added both to my wish list. Transferring money into my Steam Wallet. I’m ready!
If they announced Fleet Defender 2 with those graphics I would freak out!
