New Game Coming Out: Task Force Admiral

Ahah thank you for your kindness @damson
It’s good and a relief that some people appreciate our art direction.

We’ve got some disgruntled guys here and there calling us unworthy overhyped mobile games - I guess some old timers here still have some pity left, even after DCS
I want my Dad to be able to play his game on his computer, so if them pixel counters & eye candy makers will excuse me, gotta say Dad comes first.

Cheers

What? The graphics are outstanding as far as I’m concerned, although maybe I am considered an old timer now?.

I think you got a few NPC’s responding to you. Seems a lot like a programmed response that is hurled at everyone these days.

Looks pretty darn good to me.

Well I have to say, I’m quite impressed with the reborn Microprose lineup so far! Amiral, congrats! I worked in console game development for a few years, and there’s something pretty awesome about working for one of THE publishers you remember from your youth. Everything I’m seeing it looks like both dev teams are carrying forward the old Microprose legacy of high quality mil based products.

I’ve got to say the demo and preview look AMAZING. Definitely looking forward to this one. It’s gonna be a good year or two as all the new Microprose titles come out.

Thanks…for mentioning the Yamato…now I have that blasted Star Blazers song running through my head again! :open_mouth:

:notes: We’re off to outer space. Leaving Mother Earth. To save the human race.

We are, Star Blazers! :notes:

If you gents are into carriers (erm I’d bet you are if you are reading these lines ^^) allow me to send you the way of our friends from Carrier Battles 4 PC.

Link to the Steam Page:

This Wargame just got adapted from iOS to PC and the result is great. For sure, the most interesting take on carrier battles on computer in ages, and one of the most advanced wargames on the theme available today. Launching on Friday!

Here are a few vids for those among you who would like to know how it plays.

Cheers and support them (well, him, he’s making that alone…), he deserves it!

This is not related to Task Force. Why not create own topic for Carrier Battles 4?

Oh well… They’re French, they’re making a game about carriers and - well, how would I put it that… the 3D models used for their updated menu screens and the above-mentioned ad are not coming out from nowhere, just saying
We lent a small hand by providing some assets - but yes indeed, by all means, feel free to open a dedicated topic. It’s still a carrier Wargame experience, and besides the fact they are friends I’d say it’s enough of a relation to me in itself

Thanks for sharing that info! Looking forward to the release.

Ah! Good to know that you gents might appreciate that sort of classic wargame!
Well, no reason to wait further: we’re organizing a lucky draw with a few keys provided by the publisher of our friend’s game. Don’t hesitate to enter the event, the only think you might risk is getting a new awesome game for free ^^

Cheers!

Conducting a few savage experiments involving AI vs AI brawling, ballistics, a generous ammo wastage and a basic damage model. Them Zeroes sure go up in flames easily!
