It’s Out today on Gamepass!
I loved Oblivion!
I never played it but since it’s in Game Pass I might chekc it out.
VR???
Installation began. 119gb.
I. Am. Pumped. 400 hours in the original
Looking forward to seeing the mods catch up to it as well.
EDIT: and here we go!
A VERY relevant question. Perhaps with help of vorpX.
I mean, if you go into EVERY SINGLE Oblivion Gate (IIRC there’s something like 45 or 60 possible depending on where you are in the main campaign and with the DLC), that takes a lot of time.
And that’s before getting into all the mods.
I suspect if we get VR, it will be as a separate full price release.
Barring that, seeing as it’s done in unreal engine, it’s only a matter of time before a modder brings out something using one of the available unreal engine vr hacks.
Downloading on PS5. Its been a long time since Ive played this one. Gonna be fun reliving it again.
Woot woot!!!
I have too many time killers already and was already starting to settle into Avowed on a regular basis.
I was late to the party and started with Skyrim and put in a ton of time with it. Have been trying to patiently wait for ES6 and resisting the urge to revisit Skyrim with any of the new revisions.
Honestly, there is SO MUCH lore that directly impacts the world of Skyrim that it’s really worth it to visit.
And not just for the main quest, but even the guild quests and the DLC.
But then, I’m also just starting a new OpenMW (Morrowind) playthrough.
Want to post a screenie but don’t want to give any goodness away
No teasing!
Morrowind got me into Elder scrolls. Oblivion got me hooked on Elder scrolls and Skyrim…well i took an arrow to the knee…
Myself I’m hoping for the Oblivion story with Skyrim gameplay and modern graphics. Can any of you early adopters report on how close this comes?
I’m assuming something super obvious is passing me by, but can someone tell me how you actually exit the game?
Esc brings up the menus, but I cannot find an ‘exit’ for the life of me.
Edit - oh weird there’s a save/load screen now! I swear it wasn’t there earlier today.
It looks really great, looking forward to revisiting
