That’s me in every open world game ever.
I basically get ADHD whenever I play them.

I consider that a feature, not a bug.
I started playing this yesterday and it looks fantastic. I never played the original game so this is all new to me. I’m playing as a dark elf.
My problem with Skyrim was that many hours later I was exploring many more paths with associated quests (simultaneously of course) and the tree was growing.
For that reason, I have never finished the main quest. Still have the savegame ready just in case.
Grrrrrr 119gb update…i ■■■■■■■ hate xbox pc game pass
Not as bad as taking an arrow to the knee…
Still makes me laugh!
Most of the Skyrim Map is there in the distance as well…
dunno why, but the opening credits score makes me all Jack Sparrowy…
Oh, btw: is the diplomacy system still as bonkers as the original one? It was hilarious.
Are you referring to the “persuasion” skill that you can try and use in NPC conversations? I’ve tried it once but I’m not quite sure how it works yet.
Yes. And it’s still hilarious.
Yep. It is completely unrealistic and that is what makes it funny.
Basically the trick is to look at the face and determine what is positive and what is negative. Then you pick the negative options when they are low until the wheel spins in a way that has the positive options on high.
So you actually might have to insult somebody twice, then admire them, then tell a joke they hate and insult them again. Then you coerce them and then admire them, before finally insulting them again and now they like you.
also I’ll add you can keep doing this over and over again until their disposition towards you hits either a pre-determined floor value (at which point they may attack you), or upper value (at which point they’ll tell you everything).
So if you have some patience, it actually helps to play the minigame repeatedly. Also I’d highly recommend using conversations with the beggars in any city to level up the skill; especially now that the leveling system is more balanced.
I am so bloody sick of Xbox live redownloading the whole bloody game every time an update happens. Its ridiculous
Still playing this and enjoying it even though it’s quite funny seeing the outdated rag doll physics when you kill someone.
The nostalgia is way more of a feature than I expected. It’s like watching Star Wars again. It is such an old friend that I don’t really need to use my brain to enjoy it. And unlike Star Wars, the update has made it far more beautiful.
Is anybody starting to get consistent, accelerating crashes? It’s becoming a more frequent problem for me, and it sounds like it’s a core engine issue.
I’ve had a couple of crashes but that’s with about 30 hours of playing time so it’s not really any worse than most other games. Either way, I’m expecting a big patch soon.
