the ‘doggles’… Yes they are a thing. A mate’s dog used to ride in the motorcycle side-chair everywhere, always wore his doggles.

Yep, quite a few still, a pain one, anti-inflammatory and a ‘chill pill’ light sedative (I asked and I’m not allowed to try it). Stitches out hopefully this week. He’s doing really well.
The trick so far is just keeping him away from his super active sister Luna. She’s not very patient of him not being able to leap around and run yet, so we’re keeping them mostly separated, which is work.
edit: I should say, in the pic we all had to wear protective shades because of the laser wand thingy.

We have now been visited by RPD Maisey (two commendations for courage) who has been chosen as pack leader already. Zeus was quickly put in second place. Maisey fitted in well. Her handler
likes us and has agreed a date when we get her -10th June. The house will be quieter then after our Mudspike visitors for @Victork2 funeral.

I’ve been so busy getting my teethed kicked in by life that I haven’t had time to share our latest pet news.
Maybe six weeks ago, the better half sent me an event link to a pet adoption hosted by the organization I got Prince from happening at our neighborhood brewery, pointing out how cute the puppies were but how we don’t need a puppy.
Recognizing the game afoot, I asked her the next week when she wanted to get another dog. She said sooner than later, figuring it might take a while for the old man Prince to adjust to a new pup joining the family.
Three days later she had a meetup arranged with a foster through Peak Lab who seemed to be a potentially good fit for our family. Three days after that we all went (Prince included) to meet the pup in question and ended up leaving with her.

I had a similar problem with my cat Henry.
The problem I had was that Henry was pretty sneaky, and if I was in VR I was unaware he was there until the cooling fans went into overdrive (which he thought was great)..
I ended up buying a small platform that now sits on top of my PC. It gives him somewhere to lounge without burning up my CPU.

One of my cats recently turned off my PC. The case has its power button on top, and of course one paw was placed right on top as soon as Sumi jumped onto the PC.
The same cat also sent a message from my daughter’s PC to the world chat (we play Guild Wars together). The message was: +üäääääääääääääääääääääääääääää###### and she really hit the enter key herself right after that. (All adjacent keys on a German keyboard).
I LoL’d, and so did other people when my daughter posted “Sorry, cat on keyboard” a few seconds later.
