Still flying this amazing plane daily! No GPS and VOR / best-guess navigation is incredibly rewarding! Flying from various UK bases across the ocean and sea is thrilling while you are out of range of any navaid, you have to constantly monitor icing as you often can’t go higher than the clouds, regardless of whether you’re planning for diversions or descents you have to constantly monitor the gauges and controls because you only have a gyro-pilot to help you, all the while in the cockpit feeling like you are warm and cozy under the red glow of an absolute classic airliner! In VR it’s a treat.

This is amazing! now if I can only just get above he clouds between Scotland and Iceland I’ll be happy as a pigeon!

ElectronVolt did a great job with his sextant app. He also has an app for Radio Range Navigation, which I will definitely be trying after I finish the Christmas trek.
