Strange. My G27 is recognized in Win10.
Dang! I knew someone would say that. Have you updated to the latest Windows 10?
I think my current USB subsystem is pretty screwed up but I’m too lazy to do a clean install of Windows 10 … well 11 now …
Still not complaining about the G29 purchase though.
No, to be fair, it was awhile ago. I haven’t reconnected since I built my new computer back in October. So, I’ll retract my recognition until I try it again.
Ha ha! Have fun. I was totally surprised since I ran a whole Dirt Rally 2.0 season with Windows 10 and my “trusty” G27.
I think part of the problem is that Logitech has what they call a “Logitech G HUB” out now. You’ll probably be finding yourself downloading that in the near future.
My trusty G27 is working just fine with windows 11.
Still using the old logitch profiler though. I dont think ghub plays nice with the G27.
Been looking to upgrade but its hard to pull the trigger when the old 27 still works.
Dang it! I’m going to need exact coordinates to the drivers you are using.
Man, come to think of it, this G29 ROCKS! All the buttons you’ll ever need are right here on the wheel!
Ain’t nobody got time for stick mounted buttons!
My G25 worked just fine as well, was using the Logitech Profiler too.
Used the windows 10 version, It works fine with windows 11. However i never downloaded it once I had 11 it was a carry over from 10 to 11.
I have had my eye on the 923 though…
Yup, tried that. I’m just really happy with the G29 now. Too many $ tho.
You can still use the G27 pedals with the G29. You will however loose a little bit of the brake axis range.
This is due to the rubber thingie installed in the G29 brake as it makes it impossible to fully compress the pedal.
Since my G27 pedals has been modified to my liking and are reversemounted I am keeping mine.
The G29 brake is way to stiff for my setup.
I actually bought a Bodnar cable for my G27 pedals ages ago. Since it provides a separate USB connector for the pedals, it’s now completely wheel independent and has it’s own calibration software.
Thanks for the info though … good to know the pedal differences.
Even though I’ve been extremely happy with my Fanatec ClubSport Wheel Base v2.5, the low price of the CSL DD was an itch too great to ignore. It arrived this morning. It’s a bit more beefier than I imagined.
Congrats @chipwich ! Im using a Thustmaster base w a F1 wheel and G27 or 29 pedals. Forgot witch now. I havent fire up Assetto Corsa in a while. I like doing F1 cars in that racing Sim.
@Elby, THROW AWAY NOTHING BRO!
He’s left our forum. Sort of a sudden ragequit in a single post. I hope he is ok though.
If you’re looking for a sequential shifter, MOZA Racing recently announced theirs.
$129 USD. Pre-order now and it ships in early March.
to complement my recently procured used PS4 I went for used G29 wheel set with pedals and manual shifter .
hobby stuff all around but way better for driving than my joystick oc
looking forward to next Mudspike club racing session .
