Great shots, a couple look life-like
Quite frankly on my phone screen all of them fooled me.

Attempting to bypass removal of quoted post from this post by the system by reinserting it.
I guess wheels, that discobot is trying to tell you that there is no need to quote full last post as it should be obvious that you are replaying to it
but the robots should help only when asked imo. soon they will tell us that there is no need to reply as our reply is off topic or something…
… great shots @adlabs6 didnt push the buy button on ACC yet. even my AC install is gathering dust atls. need to buy sim racing steering wheel someday.
While it should be obvious all too often the subsequent post has been directed towards a prior post without a linked or quoted reply which leads to confusion. To avoid that confusion I will quote the specific post to which I intend reply. As with this reply I typically alter the quoted post to bypass Discobot but I forgot to do it with my earlier post.
(Long way of saying that I do not like Discobot thinking for me unless I ask him for something. )

Yesterday a test race in GermanSimRacing’s rFactor 2 GT3 league’s was done. In Interlagos a meager 9 folks raced around the track. While I’m happy about a fourth place, there’s more than a grain of salt - only five drivers completed the race. Not sure what happens when the GT3 season will have less than 10 drivers on the grid per race … not much fun to be had I fear.
Anyway, here’s the video, a bit of a bore
And the season starts … 9 starting drivers is an all time low, guess our rFactor 2 series at GermanSimRacing is pretty dead. Anyway, it was an entertaining race at Laguna Seca for an hour. After maybe 15 minutes I lost focus and made more and more mistakes until I crashed into the fence at the cork screw. Then I followed my team mate Volker for most of the race, but he let me pass two times.
Oh well - at least you got a good practice session in! I always say there are no wasted laps - they all build your knowledge of a circuit and car.
Nice. That really makes me want to set up my wheel and get some Dirt Rally 2 (or even 1 - Pikes Peak) action, it has been way too long.
But my temptaion, as always, will be to jump straight into a Group B monster and… it has been way too long
Ah, some Rally action! Haven’t played Dirt Rally 2 in a while too. Never got into WRC 10 or however it was called.
Anyway, yesterday the second race in the GT3 season at GermanSimRacing.de happened: We met at Hockenheim. For me it was a pretty bad race, lots of contacts, especially in the second half. But for the viewer it might be interesting as at least something happened…
Good grief that thing is NASTY!
This was on youtube after @weaponz248 video.

That Cosworth DFV sounds amazing IRL. I was fortunate enough to stand next to the track at Goodwood FoS when a Lotus 49 blasted by…
btw: I highly doubt that the Mercedes’ W196 engine was derived from the DB600 series. They might share the same constructor but that’s it.
I picked up the new RSS Lexus yesterday. It’s my favorite car to drive in ACC, so was a no-brainer when RSS released theirs for AC. It doesn’t sound as much like a throaty V8 as the one in ACC, nor feel as heavy, but it’s damn fun to drive, especially on Reboot Team’s free Bathurst with a 2023 track skin.
