No doubt, but that will be down the road and probably billed as a seperate plane.
Also having a rear cockpit with the GiB, certainly makes it NOT an F-15C regardless of capability congruence.
M2000C was a re-work to make it correct, not after release feature creeping.
I doubt they re-work the external model to remove CFTs, which also removes systems and Loadout capability,
Itâs not a Simple âMake it invisibleâ model argument,
Thereâs a total of 4 F-15Es being flown w/o CFTs as a Testing configuration for F-15EXâs when they are delivered, nothing more.
Removing the CFTs, requires changes to the Avionics systems, Stores management, and Flight model.
At this point the only way to do that, would be to make it itâs own aircraft, as you simply canât make those changes based off a mission editor checkbox.
Arenât aircraft modules dynamically linked into the core executable of DCS? If so, then I donât see why this wouldnât be possible.
In my opinion, if it happens it would probably be like the Spitfire Clipped Wing version, where itâs a whole ânother aircraft, not a payload/loadout option.
Thatâs a neat feature!

From Baltic Dragon FB
â Training missions for Strike Eagle.
Iâm going to break with the tradition of having long, overly complex sessions in favour of larger selection of much shorter ones, lasting max 10 minutes. So instead of flying a 40m sortie to learn about the navigation, you will have 5 or 8 more concise missions, each covering one system at a time. That also has an added value of being much better in terms of updating / troubleshooting later on.â
Itâs also good if you want to practice the stuff at the end of that mission but are already familiar with the stuff at the start.
Hate having to redo 15 mins that I know to get to the 10 I donât.
Thereâs also one module I have, I canât recall which one, that does the unforgivable (to me) sin of requiring you to do a cold start up for the bird in other training missions. Quick start disabled and they donât start it hot for you.
I NEVER cold start aside from FC3 planes which are like a couple of button presses. I have too many modules to try and remember all that!
My graphics card is already cryingâŠ
Holy cow, thatâs some resolution.
They look a little more grainy? True to life?
Looks, kind of, like the side-scanning SONAR on my boat, shadows, âgrainâ, and all. Makes sense though as both send out energy in one direction then pick up a return.
