Scrubbed for today.
Looks like Elon is going for ‘FAA are the bad guys’ narrative (which they may well be in this case here), but not sure of the wisdom in getting everyone hot and bothered - it seems like a go-to move when he’s pissed.
err…nevermind
That FAA guy was busy looking over my medical appeal. Leave him alone. I’m sure he will get right back to me.
The plot thickens, or maybe that’s the cloud cover…
Window opens soon.

Is today the day? Hear that the winds might be a little high today.
My stream of choice is up … which seems early? Timezones?
Rocket venting? Can’t see it but I just heard it on the stream ![]()
Looks like it exploded during the engine relight under 1k altitude above the pad.
Wait, what?!
Yep, didn’t go nearly as well as last time.
FAA missile? ![]()
Missed it because asleep, thought it would go better this time. They skip some designs so SN15 is up next.
Is SN15 ready to go yet? I wonder what went wrong. I thought I saw some flame right after ignition that didn’t look right, licking some of the plumbing around the engines. There also seemed a part or wire come loose around that time.
SN15 looks ready to go, but I guess it depends on what they find in post mortem, if any updates are needed.
A nice fly over the debris field of SN11, plus a good look at all the stuff they have going on at Boca Chica.
Yeah, SN15 is almost ready to go. SpaceX states that soon it will be rolled out to the launch site. I think they’ll launch it the next week.
Looks like SpaceX won the moon landing. I don’t really get the mission profile, but I think it’s something like SLS with the Orion with four astronauts to go to the moon, then they transfer for landing to this special Starship variant that is waiting and just lives in Lunar Orbit. That’s a lot of room for two people on the initial test mission…
The irony being that Starship will be capable of taking the crew all the way to the Moon, but I guess not using SLS/Orion for the mission would be a major embarrassment to NASA. Either way, I’m glad SpaceX will be heavily involved.
