Honestly, it’s game best played when you stop and smell the roses, as it were.
I cannot, for the life of me install S2 using pc game pass. It starts the download, hangs and fails about every 50mb. Its driving me absolutely mental. Done everything. Reinstalled Xbox client, troubleshooting etc etc.
I might just cancel the bloody thing and buy it on steam.
How many days now have you been trying to download it? My initial guess would be that the Microsoft XBox content servers are overloaded.

Getting on for 6 now. I got up to 60gb then rage quit and now im back on 10gb
Could it be your ISP throttling your downloads? I don’t know what type of plan you have of course so that may not be the case here.

I’m assuming that first bloodsucker you meet is scripted to die really easily because they are by FAR much harder in COP to deal with
I just get going. I just get playing and they drop a 131gb update 
It fixes a ton of bugs and improves frame rate and memory usage performance.
It runs so damn well now.

Right? Dude, I’m thinking about how cool it would be to have a DCS mission where we fly Hinds during Operation Fairway. Yeah, it ended poorly for them but still.

Its just so challenging but its fair with it, runs like butter and looks absolutely wonderful.
I left the lesser zone last night for the first time and got into a mad firefight with some psy dogs and burned through so much ammo, totally my own fault. Had to hoof it all the way back to the start to restock and repair. Was only in there 5 mins

Are you playing on “stalker” difficulty? That’s what I play on and while the early phases of the game were quite challenging, once I got a fully upgraded exoskeleton and fully upgraded top tier weapons, the game became significantly easier. Having said that, I can still get killed if I get careless but I also no longer run in sheer terror from chimeras or bloodsuckers.
I absolutely love how they made Bloodsuckers scary again.
That first time you encounter them in SoC:
That will make you squeal like a little girl.
