Star Wars Rise of Skywalker (with spoilers)

If so, I’m excited at the prospect of Samuel Jackson playing Geordi…! Or heck, why not make Jackson the captain and lets really throw down across the galaxy!

So the wife and I are rewatching Fringe, which I just discovered is another JJ Abrams product…interesting.

Did he?
There were quite some in Ep9 !
(I don’t mind them though, although he overdid them in some movies, like Star Trek for example)

EP IX was the last movie in the Trilogy Setup.

The new ones will be individual story line movies.

LOL. As I was watching Fringe, I started to notice them…seemed like there were always in some dark place with their flashlights out.

Late to the party, watched it yesterday.
Let’s put it this way:

Episode 7 was an interesting take of the Star Wars movies, good set up, with some powerful moments.
Main problem: dissing the whole pre-existing EU.

Episode 8 was treated ever so dismissedly (is that a word? ), almost like an essay written by someone how HAD to do it, knew how to do it, but couldn’t really be bothered.
Main problem: it felt like it was written by someone who didn’t watch Episode 7 at all, and who read only the condensed plot from the Star Wars Wikipedia page.

Episode 9 was a work done well in trying to recover the mess left by Episode 8, though had to skip fast on some things to try and fit all in it.
I liked it a lot and will definitely watch it again!
Main problem: some scenes seem to be there just for “Yes, it doesn’t logically fit but it looks cool!” (which is very little! I really like this movie! )

As usual, the folks at Honest Trailers nailed it (at least in my opinion):
