It’s one thing to complain about wonky physics on topics that the science nerds get excited about, it’s an entirely different thing for even the dimmest of viewers to see bombs falling in space and be like “dur that ain’t right?!?”
Well, that ship has artificial gravity so… maybe that’s why the bombs fall?
(Yes it is dumb from a physics point of view. Still a well done scene from a cinematic point of view).
Allegedly there were magnetic plates pushing the bombs down… If we’re still talking about Star Wars.
It’s 12 0’clock high…in spaaaaaaaccccceeeeee
It was cool, though…
Point was, I’m totally willing to suspend disbelief for many many things, but that doesn’t mean up is down and black is white across the board
I’m honestly lost- what were we talking about?
To be fair, I was making my point about the “sometimes here, sometimes not” shields in TLJ from a continuity point of view, not a physics one. That was what triggered me in that regard.
That, and the way they threw away Admiral Akbar in favor of Vice Admiral Violet (how many flag officers do you need when you have a fleet of three ships??).
i dunno but i’m now hungry for a black and white cookies
was more thinking of these black and white one
Oooooh! Ok, NOW I got it!
The talk about black and white and space made me think of this guy –
That was a good episode.
All of that was actually better than the film…
There’s a silver lining to the Star Wars universe, rumor has it that EA will lose its exclusive rights to make SW games.
We need to start lobbying for a worthy successor to the Jedi Knight II series right about now!!!
EA must’ve been losing some serious coin for Disney to do that.
