The Mandalorian TV show [spoilers]

Started a separate post for this show as a few of us like it.

Second episode was good! A little short but maybe it’s better at 32 minutes and all good rather than 50 minutes with 20 minutes of fluff? I think so.

Definitely got Shogun Assassin vibes from the first scene :slightly_smiling_face: . Loved seeing more of the Jawas and seeing the reason why the Stormtroopers kill them at every opportunity (that poor ship).

All in all this series is very good.

The “50 year old” has my attention. Perhaps more so than the Mandalorian himself.

I heard almost exclusively good things about it.
Sadly cannot watch it. At least not legally. Might try other ways.

Yeah, I’m in the UK so can’t get Disney+ here yet so have found alternative methods…

I enjoyed the first two, the 2nd one picked up the pace a bit.

It is how I was imagining the long dreamed about ‘Obi Wan’ spin-off would be. A sort of ‘lone hero’ Western feel to it, with that cool grubby Star Wars aesthetic.

Be nice if he took off the helmet though.

Wait, it’s a miniseries? I was so confused because I thought it was a movie. I used to be obsessed with Boba Fett as a kid. I’ll have to check it out.

I watched both episodes last night. Agree with the posts above in that it is VERY good and the CGI work is fantastic. Has a much more “adult” feel to it than your typical SW film.

I’d never ask anyone to give up their secrets and incriminate themselves…but could you PM me your secrets and incriminate yourself…:joy:

I wanted to talk spoilers. @Mace is it ok to add the ‘spoilers tag’ in the title here, so I can?

Yeah, fine

Loved the second episode.
Even though the
Jawa theft totally angered me way more than it angered the Mandalorian

I wonder if the wee yoda is mind controlling Mr M? It did seem a bit out of character when he shot the droid.

I don’t think so.
Mr. M has been a kid and had a tough life- HE sees more than a little green alien there.

Nice Western.

But honestly, the Jeff Goldbum shoe (err show) was more fun.

That is a good show, and the Nat Geo content is pretty good. I liked the Disney Imagineering documentary thing as well.

Haha it did me too! I wanted him to go all Anakin on them like he did on the Tusken Raiders
