The fact that Heatblur are taking this one on as a full module means it will be pretty special if the Tomcat is anything to go by…plus Jester will be most likely available to ride in the right seat.

I thought about “Tiger”, but that would be too obvious.
Why did they chose “Jester” for the Tomcat. A Top Gun reference, for sure, or…? Jester didn’t fly the F-14.
I think it will be a FOTI reference, but who?

I’d vote for “Flap” or “Clarence O,” if you’ve read the second book I mentioned. I was actually just speaking to BelGeode about this module (he voiced Flip Wilson in the Raven One campaign), and told him he should offer his services to Heatblur.

IIRC from the movie, wasn’t the squadron Main Battery as well, instead of the Eagles? (VA-115 was assigned to the Independence not long after filming the movie version though, when the ship relieved Midway as the forward deployed carrier in Japan, then transitioned to the Hornet after Intruders were retired in 1996- they deployed with us in 2006 and '07 before returning to NAF Atsugi with the GW).

Do we know the name of Ross’s character in the movie?
First, I dig the Intruder; loved the book (have the 1st ed hardcover (I think); loved the flight sim; I loved…thought the move was okay. But if we’re going to do an old fighter jet (remember, I said I dig the A-6…), how about one that served with many more countries; more global appeal you might say:
They’ve just GOT to have this in works somewhere. Right?
PS: I love the Intruder.
