I’m amazed on how easy it is, for you to acquire a former military aircraft in the UK. Even a large part of one, such as this Victor. My fav of the V-bombers, btw.
In the US, it’s damn near impossible in both red tape and pure cost to even buy an ejection seat or any component at a reasonable price.
My best friend, has another friend in England that owns a whole Tornado GR4, a Bucc front end and just purchased a Hunter T7 cockpit. He is in the works of restoring them for placement into a museum. But paid pennies, relatively.
