I can see you moving your gaming rig to your car and sitting in there, with your new headset on, joysticks on the sunshield. In my imagination, the vehicle is surrounded by snow and smoke is coming from the exhaust, and you are pounding the seat with your fist because the new inverter you bought, doesnā€™t generate enough watts to power your gaming rig :rofl:

Ha, thats me right now, although not with a new VR headset but ā€œonlyā€ a new Virpil Collective.
Iā€™m between houses right now, managed to rent a 20m2 room untill January 15. where i finally can move in to the new house. So, no room for the simpit at the moment.
But that collective sure looks sweet, as it sits there collecting dust :upside_down_face:

A couple of reddit people (not flight simmers) have theirs already, so interesting reading. Fantastic clarity but no motion reprojection or foveated rendering supported in games just yet, so it struggles with a the current gen GPU on some titles (again, no flight sims tried):

Will be interesting to see how Varjo handles this and how their product develops.

The Motion Reprojection they can add their side, in the OpenXR/OpenVR drivers. The foveated rendering will need game support added, although the OpenXR spec supports it as a unified way to do that (so device independent). Hopefully something MSFS will add, and even perhaps DCS if they look at OpenXR.
