Love it, A big high-five from this side of the world as well
My Dad was also being a brilliant mechanic but wasn’t a bad teacher. However he had (and still has) a bad habit of saying “pass me the.” when he wanted a tool and leave you wondering exactly what tool he wanted. My brother and I got quite good at guessing.
When he was here last month and helping with the axle on my 4x4 he did it again. “Son, can you pass me the”. I knew that he probably wanted a 14mm socket but I replied “C’mon Dad, you know you need to add a noun to make that a complete sentence”
If you ever held the flashlight wrong raise your hand…
I have to admit years later, trying to get my wife to hold the flashlight for me I could completely understand my dad’s frustration…
Parenting done right!
All the time. Has paid dividends for me in life.
Obi is going to go into orbit when i show him this.
Thats Christmas sorted lee. Cheers
First time driving the battle wagon since I fixed the starting issues and opened up the inside properly.
Took Lara to drop her off at the cinema with her rainbow troop (girl guide sort of thing)
Very funny blending in with the Christmas traffic
You look positively unhinged on that pic!
I really like how much fun you are having with that war tractor.
I just keep laughing so much at how impractical it is. Every single time i see it i laugh. It cracks me up. I’m not a showy individual and keep myself to myself as much a possible but watching people open mouth gape at me and wave slowly when you rattle past is just hilarious.
Every single journey is an event. I cant stop giggling at it. I love it so much
Driving 3,500kg of ‘Get outta my way’ will do that
Looks like it drives really well?
Not too bad. Bits to do still. The heater doesnt work. The wipers only operate on bumpy roads. Pulls like a train now though. Definitely loosening up with use.
Oh and the speedo was showing 20mph at standstill earlier and then fixed itself
Probably wondering “Right, which Yank went AWOL and stole a truck?”
Yes, it seemed to handle relatively well at speed. Fun!
Fitted the new seat belts to the beast today. An extremely easy job that i thought was going to be an abject horror show. Took most of the morning but was straightforward to do. Feel a lot better having proper 3 point civilian seatbelts in there that work properly and mesh with the kids booster seats.
The 2 piece military ones work fine but just don’t feel safe.
Lara once again is poorly but insisted on helping from start to finish. Bless her it was fun getting her to come for a ride with the boys for the first time. Over the moon to bring her.
A fun morning with the kids
First full family outing in the rig. Wife was rolling her eyes so loudly i thought I had a wheel bearing gone. Rocking up at the posh village my inlaws live in like the beverly hillbillies made me absolutely cry laugh
Merry Christmas to the Aces!
It looks so impractical and out of place. I love it
Will you adopt me?
Hey! Get in line!
