Something similar has happened here as well. Once in Sydney and once in Perth. Both involving M113’s and soldiers who lost their shite and went on a rampage.

'Tis OK Ace. Your War Rig doesn’t have tracks so I know you are safe  :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Huge pile of bits has been trickling in for me to play with.

Ordering from the states is a pain, but i do het excited when a package arrives with red white and blue on it.

New transmission filter and oil landed, a job I’m not looking forward to in the slightest.

Replacement reflector.
Serpentine belt (mines cracking. But fine for now)
New thermostat

I’m going to wire a switch to turn the fan on and off when I want it to come on. As the humvee sucks at making that decision for itself. I’ve fixed the doors a bit better and slowed the water ingress issue but not complete stopped it. Meh, its character building.

I have a keyed fuel cutoff switch to fit that i have modified slightly with an led light to show fuel flow is on and off for off. Need to mount the switch for that in the cab so I’ve come up with a cunning plan involving the hole for the radio power lead and zero cutting of the dashboard, but need to make some repair washer holes a bit bigger or it won’t work.

I will take some photos. But not really done anything worth documenting that anyone could of learned from so left it for now

Took lara on a sweet run to blow the cobwebs off.

Also, I’ve been using these for years to bleed brakes. Its a very simple little 1 way valve that clips onto a bleed nipple and is completely hands free and self sealing. Its bloody brilliant and I’m on my 3rd. Highly recommend for people who do there own spannering as bleeding brakes is a pain on your own. Cheap as well

That’s amazing!

I’ve bled using the old-fashioned two-man (or one man and his longsuffering wife), tried using a vacuum pump, and switched to the bottom-up method recently, which worked well enough on my VFR800 and VW clutches when replacing master cylinders. I’ll have to look into one of these. Do they clip securely to all bleed nipples?

Yep. They have a little clip that slots over the pipe and then over the nipple and its so stupidly easy to use. I love them so much. The only thing it didnt work on was my pushbike brakes as the nipples were so much smaller

You can really get the fluid moving through them with the pedal and nipple wide open so make sure to keep an eye on the fluid level in the M/C

Gah…. You almost had me. :biking_man:

Yeah its annoying as the hope system i have on my mountain bike needs bleeding constantly due to an air leak i cant locate

Brake bleeding kits… worth their weight in gold.

Mine also has a magnetic holder for the overflow bottle so you can attach it to the chassis above the level of the slave cylinder

90% sure It’ll be in the piston seals. It is possible to replace/get serviced at your LBS. Even though I hate the throw away culture, if you ride a lot, more time effective buying a new set of calipers.

Birthday today. Wife knocked it out the park.

She even managed to get a Yank one with M16 markings. I’m gonna use it as a toolbox for the essentials (so I’ll probably need like 6 more knowing me)

Good girl.
