Finally fixed the throttle problem I’ve been having.

Was struggling to get it up to cruising speed, kickdown wasnt working and it just seemed to be struggling
Adjusted the throttle position sensor and the idle throw on the cable and it’s like a racing car now! Obi audibly gasped when I booted it

Awesome. I’ve been having an issue with my 95 F-150, cold engine struggles to accelerate past about 800-1000 RPM. It hangs and starts knocking if you give it any gas. I’ve had to let it drive at basically idle till it gets warmed up. Wondering if it’s a fuel pump issue.
Anyway, I know this isn’t an auto repair forum but always appreciate fresh ideas on where to troubleshoot.

Filter been changed?
Don’t mention if its a gasser or diesel.

Gas. 5.0L V8. I’ll give that a shot. Can’t remember offhand the last time it was replaced, so must have been a while.

That is genuinely one of my favourite movies of all time. A coked up steven king, directing his own movie AND cameo in it.. its bloody brilliant that film. It was actually one of the driving forces behind getting the mule in the first place. I was very young when I first watched it, the first half actually scared the bejeezus out of me. Then the part with the mule and the Cat D8 happened and it was so bloody silly, I laughed and enjoyed the whole rest of the film. I love that movie (except the part with the kid and the roller, that…sucks 
)

I follow the bloke on insta that found the original clown face from that truck and restored it. He’s lovely and takes it all over the country
