I have no idea if @Piper and @JediMaster means her boyfriends or political affiliation, nor do I care.
I’m sure they don’t mean that supporting one politician over another is wrong or against better judgment.
A little humor is just that and doesn’t necessitate a response and can easily be ignored if one doesn’t find the joke to be funny.

It actually was a singing cat video from the kiffness, and i was told at the time that people didn’t come here to see that sort of thing, etc
Well I don’t particularly come here to see politics even with a wink and a nudge, especially when it can be so divisive.
I guess cat videos are harder to ignore?
That does sound really weird.
I don’t personally have a problem with the Swift post or comment, but I completely understand not wanting to see politics on Mudspike and asking for stronger enforcement of that particular rule, considering today’s divided political climate.
And I am normally the one who says everything is political…

Too many posts, and it seems i misremembered, sorry.
Still, there are many “jokes” i could have posted that ran the risk of stirring emotion from the other side, but it actually never occured to me to post here, especially since i thought the forum specifically forbade anything political except perhaps in the lounge. (which i again no longer have access to)
Since the prevailing emotion seems to be that this is all fine, I will defer to the majority, but for myself, I still won’t post anything political because I personally don’t come here for that. If anything I come here to escape that.
