I purchased Apollo 11 for the PS4 and it was pretty impressive. That enormous panel right in front of your face reminded me of Bugs Bunny when he learned to fly.
The really amazing part for me was seeing how close the horizon appeared on the moon. You could almost see the curvature. I felt like The Little Prince.
Honestly, This is probably what the inside of my brain looked like as a child, or what it looks like now, when Iâm dreaming. A quick trip to an fantastical universe where anything might happen.
âThere are no rules here. Just enjoy.â

Shattered Lights is a one-of-a-kind, fully roomscale based VR horror game which takes you on a journey down a seemingly abandoned underground medical facility armed with nothing but a flashlight and your sanity.
Using non-euclidean geometry the game will immerse you into a world where every single step you take is purely physical and youâll never once have to use controllers to move around, even so, youâll still be able to explore intricate areas, impossible geometry and any situation that Shattered Lights will throw at you.
Do Note:
Shattered Lights requires a play area of at least 2m x 2m (6 feet and 7 inches). Thereâs an option to play within a smaller space of 1.5m x 1.5m, but this is not recommended as it makes for a less stable experience, which some may experience as unpleasant.
So far, everything Iâve posted here is stuff I have actually tried and use(ed)
(Thereafter linking it to various nieces, nephews and etc. to whom Iâve gifted or sold VR headsets, and whose parents would otherwise not tend to spend much money on paid games. This stuff keeps them occupied and happy with their headsets, and I find interesting stuff for myself as well)
Beyond this point however, Iâll also be drifting into some recent things I may have tried only for brief periods but that seem very interesting, at least to me, who is always looking for something new.
Plus more old favorites.
I sure hope others out there are finding some of this stuff cool, as well!
After some discussion of trains on another thread, I decided that this very nice Demo would be well received. Its no longer available on a Steam page, so getting it involves a back-door approach.
