Wellā¦if you want to use the term ādevelopedā to mean copied and reverse engineered from the alien spacecraft that crashed near Roswell NM, the OKā¦we developed it . OK
ā¦oh wait ā¦this isnāt the Area 51 Forum !!?? Where is the deleteā¦
āI really appreciate the patience! Iām definitely over due from what I had estimated in the early access introduction message on steam ( by a year almostā¦) but this game has gotten way deeper and wider than what I had in mind at first. Thatās all thanks to the awesome community we have here I was originally only going to have the two aircraft at āfullā release time (with more to come for sale afterwards to help support continued development) but Iām throwing in the third as a bonus. I paused work on it a bit to work on quicksave and workshop since I think theyāre more important for the core game. Once we get these onto the stable branch, itāll just be finishing campaigns for the 42 and 26 left to do, so here on public_testing, we can work on the F45 together.ā
I really donāt think VTOL VR would work outside of the VR environment; everything in it is tailored toward the VR experience. The controls and graphics in particular wouldnāt translate well to a flat display where weāre used to getting DCS-quality graphics.
That looks really interesting! I like the glass cockpit style display but I switched the video off before I saw it work so I can play with it myself before someone shows me lol. Have you tried it yet @BeachAV8R?

This guy just wonāt stop! VTOL has proven to be a trojan horse. It got through the gates as a loveable little effort that highlights some of the potential of VR without tasking it too much. But then, after a few years, it turns, imperceptibly at each update, into a legitimate simulation. VTOL VR is no bobble-head joke, itās the real deal.
Iāve been waiting to try the f45 but havenāt had a chance yetā¦ Tonight may be the night. Quick questionā¦ Can I still push print screen to screenshot off my monitor with vtol vr? I havenāt tried it yet but wondered if someone had
I can, but only because Iām running NVidia Shadowplay. Iām not sure if their is a default screen grab. Or you can also hit a two button combo on your VR controller and SteamVR will take a screenshot as wellā¦ (maybe Menu+Trigger?)
