LOL…yeah, I’m using a swivel chair. For VTOL VR, I like it for the arms that are perfectly positioned for resting my forearms in a constant and predictable location. I have to back my chair away from the desk and center my location so that I’m not reaching forward and hitting my desk.

My only problems are sometimes hitting the nav light switches in the F/A-26B because they are just “below” my left chair arm, so I can’t get my virtual hand there without the arm blocking the line-of-sight, so I have to swivel my chair left instead of looking left to access those controls. Fortunately, I don’t have to access those but once in flight (if at all).

I can see where depth of a chair (the distance from your crotch to the front lip of the chair) would be a problem for the items you have to reach down and forward for (like the arming / jettison / ejection controls)…as you described, you’d end up nut punching yourself or hitting the seat cushion.

Could you go less comfy and put a pillow or something behind you to force yourself forward in the seat by chance? Probably not the best solution…but nor is buying a single chair for once experience…haha…

Fantasy Island was released by Calius yesterday. A nice smaller island map with good performance. It has a really cool mega-bridge, and a nice harbor attack layout. Comes with some enemy present missions just for practice.

I tried 5 times last night to do the mission at night where you first get the anti ship cruise missile. No matter what I did I couldn’t get a lock on the target ship.

I managed on one playthrough to get a lock on one of its escorts but I couldn’t change or break that lock no matter what I did. Its very strange. I tried high and low altitude and speed and nothing seemed to work. I ended up firing 2 mavericks and killing it that way but I wouldn’t mind knowing how other people actually got it to lock up.

Nights ops rule by the way. So much fun!
