First impressions… wow.

I’ve never used my touch controllers before as I always used my real controllers.

A bit of tweaking required, I need to relocate my Warthog Throttle and keyboard, but so far I’m impressed.

It’s great isn’t it! Give it a few hours and it just feels better and more natural. Have you done a cat shot yet? It’s seriously special!

I’ve just successfully topped up at the tanker. It took a few attempts, the issue being getting the second sensor to see my throttle hand.

What a nice feeling. I’m suitably chuffed. :slightly_smiling_face:

I think what I like about this sim is that it gives me the ability scratch my flying itch when I’m tired or don’t have the time to re-familiarise myself with a DCS module. It’s just complicated enough without the need to read a manual.

Onward to learning how to deploy weapons now.

Have you tried the f-45 yet @BeachAV8R? I’m completely smitten with it

No - I flew it for like 5 minutes a month or so ago but then work has been in the way. I have a few weeks of ā€œfreeā€ time (meaning work, but no training or magazine obligations)…so I’m going to get into it. I hear there are some really cool missions on the Steam Workshop now.
