Iāve never used my touch controllers before as I always used my real controllers.
A bit of tweaking required, I need to relocate my Warthog Throttle and keyboard, but so far Iām impressed.
Itās great isnāt it! Give it a few hours and it just feels better and more natural. Have you done a cat shot yet? Itās seriously special!
I like hovering just off the side of the fantail and watching the AI trapā¦itās so cool.

Iāve just successfully topped up at the tanker. It took a few attempts, the issue being getting the second sensor to see my throttle hand.
What a nice feeling. Iām suitably chuffed.
I think what I like about this sim is that it gives me the ability scratch my flying itch when Iām tired or donāt have the time to re-familiarise myself with a DCS module. Itās just complicated enough without the need to read a manual.
Onward to learning how to deploy weapons now.

No - I flew it for like 5 minutes a month or so ago but then work has been in the way. I have a few weeks of āfreeā time (meaning work, but no training or magazine obligations)ā¦so Iām going to get into it. I hear there are some really cool missions on the Steam Workshop now.
