Well Done! A "pat on your back" thread!

Huge congratulations to both. :sunglasses:

That is very cool. Give me a choice between that and most fighters and (talking sims rather than real) I’d take the EC-135. Congrats in flying it ably. The Bolkow fully rigid rotor design makes it stable as a rock.

Got a bolt out of the blue, we had the London overground awards ceremony a last week … i got invited ( this was unusual becase this was the first time I have ever been invited) but didn’t really want to go … these things are not really my cup of tea, and it’s a pain for me to get to… my manager phones me up the next day screaming that we have won, and then goes on to explain we won London overground station of the year, to say I was surprised was an understatement, my crappy little station … station of the year

It depends, but I reckon about six or seven years. It’s a seriously huge study.

This is a visit organised for the annual Bavarian get together of Black Angels and the Tiger Mercs in August. It is fully subscribed but will be repeated and open to anyone likely to be in this part of Germany. As well as the bases (Katterbach Kasserne) resident US Blackhawks, they are giving us our own Chinook and an Apache for the entire morning. We are allowed to crawl all over everything and explore the hangar. Lunch as well, but it is all we have to pay for.

That sounds awesome!

Perhaps you can upload the file to a cloud service? You could use something like Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive if you already use those, and click “share link”.
Otherwise if you don’t mind the Chinese government getting access, you can upload it to https://wetransfer.com/ and provide the link here.

I don’t know how many pages it is, but maybe it is easiest to just take some screenshots (type “snip” in Windows’ start/search menu) and upload those

@Freak let me know please if the link works

And just as I made yellow (5th kyu), my oldest made orange (4th kyu) with heartfelt compliments from the sensei for his flawless execution, perfect technique and knowledge of the proper Japanese names of the throws. He didn’t just make it, he aced it.

The youngest got blue tips on her white belt, she’ll probably make yellow by the time she’s eight (outpacing her brother by a fair margin) though her ukemi (rolls) leaves a bit to be desired yet. Her throwing the other kid in randori (sparring) was a sight to behold though!

You know I don’t post pix of kids on social media :stuck_out_tongue: (and even if I did, I didn’t get any action shots  )

To increase the dampness. We will also get to crawl over the Blackhawks in the maintenance hangar as well as the hangar itself. They will have crews available to answer questions. US army is very good at PR.
