It used to be massive no no. But recently with all the additives and detergents in engine oil being added, its not a bad thing at all. Some operators on smaller plant even run bobcats and dumpers etc on engine oil. Does no harm at all even neat
Heavier stuff, working its tits off, I’d be cautious of running just Engine oil, but mixed, nah…be fine
I think as a show it is brilliant. And as an education about the trials and massive intellect it takes to be a profitable poly-cultural farmer, nothing touches it. It’s almost a public service. But I would loathe living within 20 miles of the place.
Talking of little games. Has anyone tried Bandle … fun little music quizz me and the wife are getting quite competitive about … it’s similar that wordle game… you have to guess the song. Just starting with the drums then moving through the other instruments until you get a encoded voice track
Ooh, need to try that one. Wife and I where doing one that was 1 second of a song, 2 seconds, 4 seconds etc. Only problem is it was from the every beginning of a song.
Yep you can either play it as an app from the store or its website … please note I am not liable for any divorce payments if you get other halves playing this game
Cryptic Crosswords are probably my only ‘addiction’, put one in front of me and I can’t leave it alone… try and take it away from me before I have finished it and I’ll kill you.
My grandmother taught me. When I was still quite young, I thought she knew the most amazing riddles, but it was just the latest Times puzzle.
So. My boy (11) has been using the PC a bunch lately. Doing the pew pew in some garishly coloured nightmare called Fortnite. And he complains about the mouse. Wants me to buy a new one.
But I know Mice. I remember vividly how having the ball roller gunked up caused me to think our computer wasn’t up to the old DOS Tornado game because the TIALD aiming was so wonky. De-gunking that mouse was akin to upgrading that pc to the tune of a thousand bucks!
So, before ordering up a new mouse, I rather give de-gunking this one a shot. And man, did that use to be a lot easier. Of course that mouse was a much simpler machine. This one has all kinds of buttons, a scroll wheel with a magnetic clutch assembly, etc.
Still. I took it all carefully apart, without losing a single itty bitty bit. Degunkified it something fierce. Puzzled the thing back together. Found a button wasn’t clicking. Took it all apart again. Fiddled with the clickety mechanism until it regained its click. Put the thing back together.
Boy isn’t going to know what hits him when he gets his pew on this afternoon!
Missed this entire post too… What a fantastic story… You dreamed of landing off airport… I share the same dream… Well sort of. I would absolutely love to have the knowledge expertise and money to be able to wander through the mountains of Idaho and Washington state…exploring all those places that I’ve seen in flight simulator…
