I felt a disturbance in the force.
It was a good disturbance.
It is a great plane.
I mean, f15ex. Naval xx stealth fighters… Orrr f111
You know you want it.
Both excellent interviews (as always with Steve). The ejection part (last 1/4 of part 2) was a great story!
Mark Maron Interview With Mark Hamil
I didn’t know how little I knew. What a terrific guy with a head chock full of experiences, ideas, friends and politics.
Ill-advised by Bill Nighy. I could listen to him talk about the sticky side of stamps.
Is that Vin Diesel’s twin brother flying panthers with the jarheads?
Only if they got Vin Diesel off of Temu.

Two of my favorite podcasters in one podcast. Julian Dorey and John Kiriakou. Kiriakou has a podcast called “Deep Focus with John KIriakou.” If you don’t know who he is, he’s worth googling. The man is a hero.
Julian Dorey is a just a badass in the podcast world.
If you want some good gouge on the CH-47, as well as a great story of using it in rescue:
Part 1
Part 2
This channel IMO needs a little love. Not flashy but worth a look. And not all ‘fighter driver’ content (mostly, but not all)
I agree. Beth and Taco are great hosts.
I can recommend the books and interviews/podcasts from Gerald Hüther, a german biologist and neurologist. It touches all aspects of life, incredibly useful knowledge in general.
A very extreme and incomplete tldr:
An aroused brain consumes energy and is a state we try to get away from. Back to a peaceful brain state. We learn „solutions" to do that. Some solutions we come up with really suck, yet we apply them constantly.
Also: You can change your brain at any age. Nothing is set in stone. There is a common myth, too old to learn, and we limit our own potential due to it.

Interesting you mention this now- Karen and I are both dealing with issues because of how elevated our cortisol levels have been pretty much constantly for a pretty long time now.
